General

Payroon is a digital wallet platform. Deposit via MTN MoMo or Orange Money, send money free between users (P2P), withdraw to mobile money, join or create Njangi groups, and make QR code payments – all from your phone or browser.

Account

Go to payroon.com/signup.php and enter your full name, email, and phone number. Set a 6-digit PIN. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.
Tap "Forgot PIN" on the login screen. You'll receive a reset code to your registered phone number. Enter it, then set a new 6-digit PIN.
Log in, go to Settings → Verify Identity. Upload a photo of a valid government-issued ID and take a brief liveness selfie. Most verifications are approved within minutes. Free.

Deposits

Go to Deposit, select MTN MoMo or Orange Money, enter the amount, and confirm. Approve the mobile money prompt and your wallet is credited instantly. 1% fee.

P2P Transfers

Tap Send, search by name, scan their QR code, or choose from saved contacts. Enter the amount and confirm with your PIN. Completes in under 5 seconds.
Yes. Sending between Payroon users is always free.
Currently only between Payroon users. Withdraw to mobile money and transfer from there. Direct to non-users coming soon.

Withdrawals

Go to Withdraw, select MTN MoMo or Orange Money, enter the amount, confirm with PIN. Funds sent to your mobile money account. 1% fee.
Typically 5–15 minutes, rarely up to 1 hour.

Njangi Groups

A rotating savings group where members contribute a fixed amount each cycle. Contributions held in escrow. On payout day, the full pot is automatically released to the designated member. Free to create and join.
Go to Njangi → Create Group. Set contribution amount, cycle length, payout order, and invite members by username.
The system flags them and their trust score drops. The missed amount is recorded as debt. Repeat offenders can be removed.
Yes – held in Payroon escrow, not accessible by any member until the scheduled payout date.

Security

256-bit AES encryption on all data, two-step login (password + PIN), KYC verification, real‑time session monitoring, cryptographic QR verification, and full audit trail.
Contact support@payroon.com or tap "Report Suspicious Activity". Change your PIN from a trusted device.
No. Your PIN is stored as a salted hash. Even engineers cannot see it.

Fees

1% on deposits and 1% on withdrawals. P2P transfers, Njangi groups, KYC, and QR payments are free.
Yes. Every transaction screen shows the exact fee amount before you confirm with your PIN.
