2. Data We Collect

We collect account data (name, email, phone, hashed password/PIN), identity data (KYC: ID document, selfie), transaction data (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, Njangi contributions), device & technical data (IP, device type, session IDs), and communications (support emails).

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide wallet services, process deposits/withdrawals/transfers, verify identity (KYC), detect and prevent fraud, send notifications, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, and improve the platform.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with our payment processor (to execute transactions), regulatory authorities (when legally required), and law enforcement (if compelled by court order).

5. Data Retention

Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulation. Account data retained for the duration of account activity plus 2 years after closure. KYC documents retained for 5 years after account closure.

6. Data Security

All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES‑256). Passwords and PINs are stored as salted hashes. Access restricted to staff on a need‑to‑know basis.
